WhenToStargaze respects your privacy. There are no accounts and no tracking of you across other sites.

Location

If you tap “use my location”, your device shares approximate coordinates with your browser only, to find your nearest city. We do not store them.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (PostHog, EU-hosted, and Vercel Analytics) to understand which pages are useful in aggregate. No advertising cookies, no cross-site profile.

Forecasts

Live cloud forecasts are requested from Open-Meteo using the coordinates of the city page you view, under their privacy policy.

Advertising

We may show advertising to keep the site free; where required you will be offered a consent choice.
